To finance the Investment and Modernization Program for the Justice Sector of the Republic of Guatemala. The resources will be allocated for the development of pre-investment, construction and equipment for the following Executing Agencies; Ministry of the Interior (MINGOB), Judicial Agency (OJ), National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) and the Institute of Public Criminal Defense (IDPP). With this type of program, it is planned to support the construction of Preventive Centers, courts, the INACIF central building, expansion of the IDPP central building, among others. Likewise, the furniture equipment of the new facilities, mobility equipment, criminal analysis equipment, surveillance system among others, which effectively facilitates the prosecution of crime that benefits the population of Guatemala. The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), as part of the
services it provides to its beneficiary partner countries, is providing
financing for this acquisition, within the framework of To finance the
Investment and Modernization Program for the Justice Sector, of the Republic of
Guatemala. The resources will be allocated for the development of
pre-investment, construction and equipment for the following Executing
Agencies; Ministry of the Interior (MINGOB), Judicial Agency (OJ), National
Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) and the Institute of Public Criminal
Defense (IDPP). With this type of program, it is planned to support the

2.EXECUTING AGENCY AND CONTRACTING AGENCY OF THE PROCESS
2.1 The Executing Agency of this process is: .
2.2 The Executing Agency is responsible for this acquisition process, for which
it appoints the Executive Committee of the process and invites proposals for
the required contracting.
2.3 The Contractor will be selected in accordance with the procedures of the
Central American Bank for Economic Integration established in the Policy
for the Obtaining of Goods, Works, Services and Consultancies with CABEI
Resources and its Standards for Application , which are found under

3. PRESENTATION OF THE PROCESS
3.1 General objectives of the acquisition:
Modernize the data network infrastructure of the Western Regional Complex located in the department of Quetzaltenango. This modernization requires:
-Standardize institutional network infrastructure.
-Replace current network infrastructure equipment with devices with better capabilities, warranty and support.
-Improve data transmission capacity in order to make the performance of jurisdictional and administrative applications efficient.
-Simple administration of the LAN (Local Area Network) through the configuration and enabling of virtual local area networks (VLAN).
-Have greater capacity to connect new devices to the data network.
-Optimize the operation of computer services in the Western Regional Complex.
-Provide the high availability and load balancing function to the data network of the Quetzaltenango Regional Justice Center.
