1. Funding
Details
The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant
administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank)
towards the cost of the above named project.
Additional financing information:
The Borrower has applied for co-financing from the following sources in the
amounts indicated as an estimation:
WBIF Grants in an amount of approximately EUR 160 million
EBRD Loan in an amount of approxiamtely EUR 100 million
EIB Loan in an amount of approximately EUR 100 million
2. Information on the Project
Project Description:
The Bank’s financing will be used for the rehabilitation of the 120.2 km
railway line between Vore and Hani i Hotit on the border with Montenegro,
Albania’s only railway connection with the neighbouring countries.

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are
