THE COVER PLATE AND SURFACE MOUNTING BOX SHALL BE OF POLYCARB ONATE MATERIAL( PC WHITE LEXAN 143R). THE SWITCH ASSEMBLY SHALL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS. 1) THE SWITCH UNITS(WHITE COLOUR)SHALL BE CONFORMING TO IS:3854(LATES T). 2) EACH SWITCH ASSEMBLY SHALL BE SUPPLIED WITH HARDWARE. 3) FLUSH TYPE AS PER CLA USE 7.1.6 OF IS:3854. 4) NORMAL GAP CONSTRUCTION AS PER CLAUSE 7.1.2 OF IS:3854 5) UNENCLO SED TYPE AS PER CLAUSE 7.1.3 OF IS:3854. 6) DEGREE OF PROTECTION: IPXO AS PER CLAUSE 7.1.4 OF IS:3854 7) METHOD OF ACTIVATING: ROCKER TYPE AS PER CLAUSE 7.1.5 OF IS:3854 8) DESIGN A AS PER CLAUSE 7.1.7 OF IS:3854 9) ACCEPTABLE MAKES OF SWITCHES AND SOCKETS # CRABTREE, RECORD,MK HONEYWELL AND LEGRAND.IT SHALL BE PROCURED EITHER FROM MANUFACTURER OR THEIR AUTHORISED DEALERS ONLY. 10) CURRENT RATING MORE THAN 6A WILL BE ACCEPTAB LE SUBJECTED TO MEETING ALL OTHER REQUIREMENTS AS ABOVE. 11) THE SOCKET (WHITE COL OUR)SHALL BE CONFORMING TO IS:1293(LATEST).
